Thora Markert
Thora Markert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from TU Dortmund and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy). She has research experience in Medical AI based on her work at the University Hospitals of Aachen and Essen. Since 2020, she has been with TÜVIT (TÜV Nord Group), where she serves as the Head of AI Research and Governance and Co-Leader of the AI team. Her work focuses on the research and development of methods for the testing and safe deployment of AI systems in safety-critical areas.
