Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics with your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), a web analysis service offered by Google Inc. (“Google”) Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyze the use of our website. As a rule, the information on your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored. However, within the member states of the European Union or other countries that have ratified the convention on the European Economic Area, Google will abbreviate your IP address before doing so. The full IP address is transmitted to a U.S. server of Google only in exceptional cases and it is abbreviated there in those cases. On the servers, your IP address is anonymized and then transferred to a Google server in the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to render additional services related to the use of the website and the Internet to the operator of the website. The IP address transmitted by your browser in conjunction with Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can prevent the storage of cookies by making a pertinent adjustment to your browser software. Moreover, you can prevent the recording of the data generated by the cookie that is related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google, by deactivating it using the following link.
In addition, you can deactivate the use of Google Analytics at any time via the Consent Manager.
You can register to receive a free newsletter. We use a double opt-in process for sending the newsletter. That means we will only send you the newsletter by e-mail when you have provided your express consent stating that we, or an affiliate of the diconium Group, should activate the newsletter service. Once you have registered, we will send a notification e-mail to the address you provided and request that you confirm your newsletter registration by clicking on one of the links contained in the e-mail.
At all times, and with effect for the future, you can object to the use of your personal data for e-mail advertising purposes. It is sufficient to send an e-mail to email@example.com or to one of the addresses provided below. You will also find an “unsubscribe” link in every newsletter. Your revocation will not result in any additional costs other than those incurred through standard transmission costs.
The processing of your data occurs in accordance with your consent as per Art. 6, Sec. 1 letter a) GDPR for purposes of mailing the newsletter. As long as there are no conflicting interests on your part, your personal data will be deleted if you do not confirm receipt of the newsletter or if you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Conflicting interests on your part are, in particular, the exercising of a right to object to advertising. Your personalized data is collected for the implementation of your objection to receive advertising in order to adhere to this request in future (Art. 6 Sec. 1 letter c GDPR). A usage for any other purposes is not processed.
The mailing of the e-mail newsletter is processed by the technical service provider HubSpot Inc., 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA (“HubSpot”). We forward the data you’ve provide to us upon newsletter registration to HubSpot. The data you have entered for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g., the e-mail address) is stored on the servers of HubSpot in Germany. We are obligated to inform you that – within the scope of support and maintenance services – your data may be processed by HubSpot Inc. in the United States of America. The USA does not represent a secure third-party country. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that your data will be used for other purposes without your knowledge, and that it will not be possible for you to exercise your rights as an affected party. In particular, the use of your data by law enforcement and intelligence agencies cannot be ruled out. By providing your consent for these services, you confirm that you are aware of these risks and that you accept these (Art. 49, Sec. 1 letter a GDPR).
On our behalf, HubSpot uses the provided data for mailing the newsletter as well as for conducting statistical analyses. For the analyses, the e-mails sent contain web beacons or tracking pixels that represent one-pixel image files that are stored on our website. This enables us to determine whether or not a newsletter mail has been opened and which links, if any, were accessed. With the help of conversion tracking, it can furthermore be analyzed whether or not a predefined action (e.g., product purchase on our website) occurred after the newsletter link was clicked. Moreover, technical information is recorded (e.g., time of access, IP address, type of browser, and operating system).
Using this information, we create a user profile of your activities on our website so that we can better understand your interests and better customize our information.

What data is processed for what purposes?
Calling up the booking page
Booking and billing is carried out via our ticketing service provider Ticket i/O, with whom we have concluded an order processing contract. In order to increase the security and delivery speed of the website (legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO), Ticket i/O uses the Content Delivery Network (CDN) Amazon CloudFront from Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL.
AWS is the recipient of your personal data (IP address) and acts as a processor for Ticket i/O.
A CDN is a network of distributed servers capable of delivering optimized content to the website user. For this purpose, personal data may be processed in server log files by AWS.
The information is used to analyze and maintain the technical operation of the servers and the network, as well as to combat abuse, and is stored by AWS for as long as is necessary for the purposes described. Ticket i/O encrypts the log files and deletes them after 7 days.
More information about data protection at AWS can be found here.
It cannot be completely ruled out that your IP address will be transmitted to the USA by AWS. AWS has implemented enhanced compliance measures for international data transfers. These measures are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). For more information, please click here.

Matomo web analysis
We have integrated the Matomo component of the provider InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, on this website. Matomo is a software tool for web analysis, i.e. for collecting, collating and evaluating data on the behavior of visitors to websites. This is used to optimize the website and for cost-benefit analysis of Internet advertising.
The data processing takes place in Germany. We do not pass on this personal data to third parties.
You can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Matomo from setting a cookie on your IT system. In addition, a cookie already set by Matomo can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs.
Furthermore, you have the option to object to and prevent the collection of data generated by Matomo related to a use of this website. To do this, you must set an opt-out cookie here: [[opt-out cookie here – please ask Ticket I/O for the right function]]
Marketing includes the following services
This website uses the “Facebook Pixel” of Facebook Inc. In the event that explicit consent is granted, this allows the behavior of users to be tracked after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This procedure is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can help to optimize future advertising measures.
The data collected is anonymous for us, so it does not offer us any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). You may allow Facebook and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
Our website uses the conversion tool “LinkedIn Insight Tag” from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser, which enables the collection of the following data, among others: IP address, device and browser properties, and page events (e.g. page views). This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days, and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share personal data with ticket.io, but offers anonymized reports on website audience and ad performance. In addition, LinkedIn offers the possibility of retargeting via the Insight Tag. Ticket.io can use this data to display targeted advertising outside of its website without identifying you as a website visitor. You can find more information about data protection at LinkedIn in the LinkedIn privacy notices. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings. To deactivate the Insight tag on our website (“opt-out”), click https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Our website uses the functions of Google Ads, with this we advertise for this website in Google search results, as well as on third-party websites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in the browser of your terminal device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you visit.
Additional data processing only takes place if you have consented to Google linking your Internet and app browsing history to your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads that you view on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google temporarily links your personal data with Google Analytics data to form target groups.
You can permanently disable the setting of cookies for ad targeting by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
Alternatively, you can obtain information about the setting of cookies and make settings for this from the Digital Advertising Alliance at the Internet address www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.
Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager, a cookie-less domain that does not collect any personal data.
Through this tool, “website tags” (i.e. keywords that are embedded in HTML elements) can be implemented and managed through an interface. By using the Google Tag Manager, we can automatically track which button, link or personalized image you have actively clicked on and can then record which contents of our website are of particular interest to you.
The tool also triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If you have opted out at the domain or cookie level, this will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.
Support regarding the booking is provided by our ticketing service provider ticket.io, with whom we have concluded an order processing contract.
In the context of contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request; this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary. For customer support, Ticket i/O uses the technical service provider ZOHO DESK https://desk.zoho.eu/portal/tiosupport/de/home.
The data processed by cookies, which are required for the proper functioning of the website, are necessary to protect our legitimate interests as well as those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.
For all other cookies, it applies that you have given your consent to this via our opt-in cookie banner within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO.
Who are the recipients of data?
Unless previously mentioned, personal data is generally not passed on by us to third parties. However, we may use service providers, such as the order processors already mentioned. Here it may happen that a service provider obtains knowledge of personal data.
