Respect for Others: Participants must respect the rights, dignity and worth of every individual attending the event.

Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional and appropriate demeanour. Respect the boundaries set by others and understand that your intent may not match someone else’s impact.

Respect for Different Opinions and Constructive Dialogue: Be open to different viewpoints and respectfully challenge ideas, not people. Engage in constructive debates, providing and accepting constructive feedback.

Collaborative Learning: Share knowledge freely and support your fellow participants. Recognize and respect the diversity of skills and experiences in the group.

Unacceptable Behaviour

Harassment: Harassment of any kind, including, but not limited to, offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, or technology choices.

Intimidation and Discrimination: Threats, stalking, bullying, discrimination, derogatory comments, or any form of intimidation is not acceptable.

Disruption: Any form of disruptive behaviour during presentations, workshops, or networking sessions is not acceptable.

Inappropriate Use of Material: Sharing or displaying sexually explicit material, violent material, or any form of offensive imagery is strictly prohibited.

Reporting & Enforcement

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the event staff immediately.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all event venues and event-related social activities. Event organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, expulsion from the conference with no refund, and/or reporting the offender to local law enforcement.
